I cam across this article after I started my blog. It has very useful information on how to create a quick down and dirty Drupal blog.

When I first started with Drupal, the exercise that helped me the most to understand how Drupal works was to create a simple blog. Now, back then, there were a lot of tutorials on how to do it using the blog module (which is great) but this is a learning experience so I’ll show you how I did it using CCK and Views.

I've heard great things about Drupal being a really robust Content Management System, so I had to put it to the test. I already discovered Wordpress and found it very user friendly, and I though the same would be for Drupal. Drupal load time is a lot faster than Wordpress, but user friend it is not and trust me I'm a quick learner.
